Helen Warren trained in “Conservation & Restoration Studies” in Lincoln and worked in a privately owned china and glass restoration studio before starting the business in 1990.
She has worked in Scotland, Kent and currently has a studio in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, and works for the leading auction houses, London Guilds, museums historic houses, in addition to antique dealers and the general public.
She has had the pleasure of receiving commissions from 10, Downing Street and the British Embassy in Hong Kong, and endeavours to bring exactly the same level of service to your particular piece of work, whether it is large or small. She appreciates the value of pieces to their owners.
Conservation and Restoration.
A wide range of services are available from conservation “museum” types of repairs to high quality “invisible” restoration. Porcelain restoration is one of the many expert repairs offered.
The choice will depend on the nature of the problem, customer requirements and available budget. The mediums we work with cover all types of china, pottery and porcelain, including stoneware, earthenware, terracotta, archaeological, tiles, plaster, resin, jade, onyx, soapstone, ivory and glass.
Antique and Modern
Pieces requiring conservation or restoration can be both antique or modern and familiar factory names seen regularly include: Doulton, Worcester, Wedgwood, Derby, Spode, Coalport, Bow, Chelsea, Meissen, Dresden, Sevres, Limoges, Oriental Pottery & Porcelain, and Staffordshire. More modern pieces may include: Clarice Cliff, Charlotte Rhead, Capo di Monte, Beswick. Lladro & Nao, Border Fine Arts & Country Artists.

Estimates
Estimates of cost and time scale for repairs are offered free of charge, after careful examination of the damage. Written quotations are available on request for insurance claims.
